The following morning the boys went out on a bike adventure with Dada while Mama stayed home with Camille.
Here they are, heading out...
Bye Nana!
Checking out the lagoon
Gator!
Later we all went to the beach
Camille's first watermelon!
Cami in the pool with Dada
And with Mama
That night we had a cookout at the house - another great day!

Family Beach Fun
At the end of July we took our yearly beach trip with the kids. It was Camille's first trip to the beach and Anson's first big trip since he was 2 months old. We headed to Hilton Head Island, our very favorite beach, for a week of fun with Nana and Papa. We rented a beach house just down a little path from the beach. The weather could not have been better - hot and sunny without a drop of rain. Eric and I also celebrated our 10th anniversary while we were there, with an amazing date night at the Jazz Corner. Besides the beach, we visited Harbortown, climbed the lighthouse, went biking, did a dolphin tour, went crabbing, ate out a bunch (with 3 kids, and they were so good!), and swam in our pool. It really was a great trip!
Mama and Camille headed to the beach for Cam's first time!
first time toes touched sand!
She's thinking "I could get used to this!"
Hi Anson!
Mama and Grady in for a swim - he wanted to play out in the waves all the time!
We built so many sandcastles!
Cami was a bit intimidated by the waves
Serious work!
Exploring sand for the first time
Sneaking a taste
Back at the house Grady swam in the pool with Dada whie the little ones napped
Cami got up, had a wardrobe change, and played with Nana and Papa
Showing off the back
Beach babies!
Kisses!
Grady and Anson met some friends and helped with their giant sandcastle
That night we walked to the Beach Club for dinner, and it was just perfect. The kids were so good, we sat outside, there was a nice breeze, and the live music was so much fun. It really was a "These are the Days" moment!
Before dinner - dark, but the only one of me with all the kids. Then Anson ran off...
Grady and Nana
Beauty with her parents
Ansy loved the "guitar man"
He also loves Camille
The boys all headed back while the girls stayed behind to pay. Cami was so happy and danced with Nana
The end to a perfect first day on Hilton Head!

Pretty Baby
This beautiful baby girl just turned 8 months old!
She has been sick for the past few days (her brothers gave it to her), but she is still such a sweet and mellow girl. She has a great little personality! When it comes to physical things she is one strong lady! She has recently been pulling up on things and even pulled herself up on the train table and stood there for about 8 seconds the other day. She is now crawling normally about 1/2 the time and doing the army crawl about 1/2 the time.
She loves her brothers, reading books, her baby dolls (really!), and her purse.
We love you Cami Rose!
