Anson is 7 month old!

Baby A turned 7 months old on Saturday. The good news is that he is growing well (about 18 pounds now!), and is quite happy, social, and adorable! The bad news is that his belly has been bothering him. We're not sure exactly what's going on, but it is affecting his sleep and causing him to wake up a lot with gas. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it so we can all get some more rest soon. But during the day he is generally quite happy and lots of fun. He is sitting very well now - for longer periods of time. He doesn't show much interest in crawling yet, but he rolls all over the place. He chews EVERYTHING and seems to be getting some more teeth soon. He was eating solids twice a day but we are giving him a break for a few days while we try to figure out what is wrong with his belly (we think the solids may be part of the problem). I think he really enjoys "real" food though, so I hope we can give him some more soon! We have been giving him water in a sippy cup so he can try that out, and he seems quite curious about the whole thing. He's still a mellow guy, though he does "chat" with us quite a bit. He loves tubs, his Exersaucer, music, and kisses. I think he has tried to give me kisses, but it is sort of hard to tell since he doesn't know how to pucker :) We all (especially Grady!) are so in love with him. I'm so excited to celebrate his first Christmas with him! I wish I had some new pictures, but there will be lots to come!

It's Showtime!

Grady's preschool Christmas show was yesterday. Daddy, Anson, and I were all there to watch him perform, and he did an awesome job! I think he may have been more into it than any other kid up there - singing all the songs (there were 5 or 6!) and doing all the motions with much enthusiasm. He is quite comfortable up on stage. I was so proud!
