We just returned from a very fun (yet tiring) trip to Massachusetts. It was Anson's first trip up there, so a lot of family got to meet him for the first time. Grady has been several times, but he seemed to love it more than ever on this visit. Maybe it was the beautiful weather and all of the love he received from everyone we saw! I'll break up this post since we took a LOT of pictures!
The flight from Charlotte to Boston was not so much fun since we got bumped form our first flight and had to sit in the airport with two small children for many hours, but Eric did try very hard to keep Anson happy...
We ended up getting in right before dinner and bedtime on Friday night, but we started Saturday off with a fun trip to the Ecotarium in Worcester.
Grady checked out the owls - one of his favorite animals
Anson enjoyed running around the place
They both liked the wind machine, especially A
The wind blowing his crazy hair
Grady made a tornado
This face just says "mischief" to me
Nana and Papa took them on the train too
The next morning Grady really wanted to check out Nana's yard. He also loved the bug catching kit she got for him.
Nana and Grady went to pick raspberries that morning, then we all met up at Dean Park to play. Grady met a friend from China, and actually told her "hello" in Chinese - smart boy :)
Despite their language barrier, they played endlessly.
Anson had fun too!
A few more of Grady (taken by Nana)
That afternoon was rainy, so Nana, Mama, Grammy Nancy, and Grady all went to see Cars 2. Grady was great at the theater and really enjoyed his movie!
Lots more to come...
