We got there right when they opened - here are the boys with some gators
They both enjoyed it!
There were so many cool things to see, just as we walked around.
Then the boys wanted to try this "hurricane booth", which simulates hurricane strength winds
Can the hurricane move the hair helmet? Not really. He has a future on CNN!
There were lots of flamingos!
Then we headed for the Sesame Street area where Grady was kind enough to ride some very mellow rides with the little guys.
Camille loved the swings!
Then we headed over to the stage to watch the live Sesame show. It was so much fun and all of the kids loved it, as did the adults!
After the show we had a meet and greet with the characters
After lunch Camille went for a sleepy time walk and fell asleep while Mama, Gaga, Grandpa, Grady, and Anson took the safari train and saw all sorts of animals close up!
Giraffes
Zebra
Not sure exactly what these guys are, but they were close!
The rhinos were so close they had to stop the train!
Gaga got an Abby Cadabby dolly that she adores!
Grandpa brought Anson on the flume ride, which was quite a thrill for him!
We had such a great time and saw so many cool things!
The following day (our last) we decided to take it easy and started with some fishing in the morning. Grady caught a fish on his first cast ever!
Grady and his catch!
Then we spent the rest of the morning in the pool
That afternoon we headed to the South Florida Museum
We got to see the oldest manatee in captivity and lots of other cool things!
There was a gorgeous courtyard where the little ran around while I took Grady back into the museum
That evening we found a really fun spot for dinner, right on the water. It was a great ending to a really nice trip. Thank you Gaga and Grandpa!
