Anson Is Three!

This past weekend my baby boy turned three!  We celebrated with a big "Dada's Work" themed party in our backyard.  About 45 friends and family members joined us.  Though it rained heavily that morning, it cleared for the party, and everything was perfect!

It was a fantastic party to celebrate a fantastic boy!  Happy birthday, Ansy Boo!

Hello Sunshine!

We have had lots of warm sunny weather lately and have been playing outside lots! We redid the giant sandbox in our backyard and have been spending tons of time there. Eric and the boys also built a raised gardening bed in the backyard, and we now have lots of things growing!

Spring Break Trip - Deserted Beaches, Fire Trucks, and an Aircraft Carrier

We really did get to have lots of cool experiences on our trip. Wednesday morning began with a little time at the playground that was a short walk from our house, and then we hiked to a basically deserted beach!

On Thursday it rained, so we headed into downtown Charleston again to the children's museum. It was a great time!

That afternoon, after naps, it was still raining, so we headed to the Fire Museum in North Charleston

That evening we ate at the Isle of Palms Marina. It was a great meal!



The next morning Eric took Camille and Grady to Patriots Point, and we all went back in the afternoon.

That evening we ate at a place with all sorts of cool pirate artifacts. Charleston has tons of pirate history. Anson walked in and said "Yarrrr!!". So cute.

So it was a great trip. Lots of cool experiences for the kids and plenty of fun family time!
