We really did get to have lots of cool experiences on our trip. Wednesday morning began with a little time at the playground that was a short walk from our house, and then we hiked to a basically deserted beach!
Swings are the best!
Grady pushed Camille because he is the best big brother ever!
Bouncy!
Look at the love!
Our own stretch of beach, as far as the eye could see...
That night we got pizza at Luke and Ollie's on Isle of Palms
On Thursday it rained, so we headed into downtown Charleston again to the children's museum. It was a great time!
In the water room
In the pirate area
A naughty pirate
They successfully tied some sort of sailing knot
Grocery store - look at his healthy choices!
That afternoon, after naps, it was still raining, so we headed to the Fire Museum in North Charleston
They got to climb a real fire ladder!
Fire pole!
Such a cool museum!
That evening we ate at the Isle of Palms Marina. It was a great meal!
The next morning Eric took Camille and Grady to Patriots Point, and we all went back in the afternoon.
The Yorktown retrieved the Apollo 8 from the ocean
In the briefing room
The whole family!
That evening we ate at a place with all sorts of cool pirate artifacts. Charleston has tons of pirate history. Anson walked in and said "Yarrrr!!". So cute.
So it was a great trip. Lots of cool experiences for the kids and plenty of fun family time!
