Cuteness
I am finally catching some good shots of Anson smiling. He really is a happy little guy!
And some other expressions
Play gym time!
Smiling at himself in the mirror (he LOVES mirrors)
Getting better at holding the noggin up, despite our infrequent tummy time
"Who is that cute baby?"
Sleeping in the Moby wrap (which he has been loving). His head is sort of back though because he tends to pull it back before he settles in and goes to sleep.
Grady loves bugs now. He actually caught a housefly recently. Seriously - isn't that impossible? He held it between his fingers but didn't kill it. He's like the bug whisperer.
And just a note - we got his hair cut the very next day.
He grew these from SEEDS!
Happy Anniversary Eric!
A few wedding photos for fun...
2nd anniversary (Playa del Carmen, Mexico)
3rd anniversary (Playa del Carmen again)
4th anniversary (Boston - where we were married - I'm 6 months pregnant with G)
And last year, before going to diiner - not even pregnant with Anson yet!
Wonder what adventures the next 8 years will bring?

Chubby Anson
Out and About
We have had a fun couple days. Tuesday we went to the butterfly garden where Grady had SO MUCH FUN! It was a super hot day (it has been over 90 and closer to 100 basically every day since the beginning of June) but we went in the morning so it wasn't too bad. I wore Anson in the sling (solarveil so it is relatively cool and has an SPF of 50) and he slept the entire time. Grady and I fed the turtles and fish in the pond, walked on the trails (we pretended we were explorers, which he loved), and checked out the gardens. It was especially fun because Tuesdays are the day that the gardeners are actually there. Grady was talking to them, asking questions, and even helping some. They are mostly older people, so they were loving talking to Grady and checking out little Anson.
Yesterday we went to Grady's "girlfriend's" house to swim. Gradyhad a blast and Anson did what he always does and napped for the entire 4 hour playdate. I fed him right before we left and he went right back to sleep when we got home. He loves his sleep.
I am happy that we have been getting out more. Grady has been enjoying it too. And as always he is wonderful with his brother. He was telling the other kids yesterday "we can't touch him because we don't know if we have germs on us". How cute.
Here are some recent pictures...
love the chunky little thighs
Grady and I made brownies the other day and brought half the pan to our friends Drew and Darby
he licked the bowl clean
tubby time shots
Haha - he's in actual shorts! And check out the sneaker socks.
This boy smiles so much but it is always hard to capture on camera - I finally got some though

Anson is 2 months old!
Not too much going on here. We've been getting out a bit more lately, though we mostly stick close to home still. Good thing Grady has way too many toys, tons of art supplies, lots of educational videos, a Cool School computer, and loves to bake! So we find lots to do here. Anyway, I just wanted to post a few new pictures - mostly of Anson...
And I just had to add one of Grady at the same age - are they twins or what!?
OK - back to Anson...
he's kicking these a lot now
Grady was squishing his cheeks and he was just smiling like crazy - of course I couldn't quite get it on camera
baby straight jacket - he always sleeps like this
now
And some bad news is that Grady and Anson both have a cold. Luckily it is very mild. Anson never even got a fever of any sort. He just has a bit of a stuffy nose and has not been sleeping as well as he had been. Grady is doing fine and almost over it. Hopefully Anson's will pass quickly too.

4th of July Fun
Papa and Anson
Love this face!
cutting siding
Grady with his sunflowers. He planted them from seeds! They will get about 6-7 feet high.
Grady also watched some soccer with Papa
That afternoon Eric and I took Grady to the pool.
On the 4th of July everyone but me and Anson went to a local playground before it got hot. Grady took his bike and rode around like crazy. That afternoon we went to the pool. Anson came too!
Nana fed him a bottle
I love this picture of him. I think he looks like me as a baby here!
Grady was "surfing"
lounging with Papa
That evening we had a nice cook-out - burgers, potato salad, corn on the cob, and watermelon. I also made these red, white, and blue ice cream desserts. Grady was super helpful setting the table!
Eating corn on the cob for the first time
The next morning everyone except for me and Anson went to the zoo. But first I got these cute pictures of my boys...
You can't really tell, but Anson is actually smiling in this picture, not freaking out
Anson had a great 4th of July outfit from Gaga - love the hat!
At the playground outside the zoo
As always, feeding the goats
Gators!
Nana holding Anson
Nana and Papa
Nana and Papa left on Monday, and we were sad to see them go, but we will be spending a week at the beach with them in less than a month! YAY!
And a few videos...
Feeding the goats NEVER gets old, apaprently
Grady "surfs"
Anson tries to hold his head up
