This week Anson has had a few new food experiences. First, he tried Baby Mum Mums and loves them - like ADORES them! He would eat the box if I let him. He also started Cheerios. He can't quite pick them up himself yet, but he will try and try and then be so happy when we pop one in his mouth. Yesterday he actually used his pincer grasp and picked up a chunk of food (watermelon) on his own for the first time. I think it's pretty good for him to be using his pincer grasp at only 8 months old. But Grady was the same - always very good with that. So he loves food of all sorts. I just wish we didn't have to go so slow with him because we are unsure of what is going on with his belly.
We had a gorgeous weekend (it was about 75 today!), so we played outside a ton, which was so great. Grady rode his bike some, played with his water table, used his Play-doh burger shop, and rode his Jeep. Anson sat in the grass and watched the "big kids" :)

And trying Cheerios for the first time!
Watermelon!
I get to see this almost every morning - how lucky am I?

Grady and a neighborhood friend, Reagan, played in the water table this afternoon. They pretended to be working in a restaurant, and I was their customer. Too cute!
We also went to church this morning. Grady loved it again, and Anson did not (again). But it was a little step up from last week, so there is hope that some day he may enjoy the church nursery.
