This past weekend we took the boys to Niven's Farm to pick pumpkins and enjoy all sorts of other fun activities. This was Grady's fourth year going and Anson's first. Needless to say, it has become a beloved fall tradition in our house! We ended up with 7 pumpkins and lots of fun memories and pictures...
Grady is always a ham, so I got some pictures of him with the pumpkins when we arrived
And the tractor - still smaller than a wheel :)
Baby A is harder to capture, but he was quite happy and excited about EVERYTHING
Out in the patch
Anson actually pushed the wheelbarrow!
Checking out a "pump-poo"
Farmer Anson assessing the crop
G-Man using the clippers for the first time!
The boys all pushed the pumpkins back to the farm store
Then we checked out some animals - this was a pig
Bouncing on the tires - Anson loved it but thought it was best to do it sitting
Sweet Grady is always picking flowers for his Mama
At the tee pee
Maybe some sort of Native American dance?
Hi Grady!
Such sweet brothers
Anson enjoyed this little playhouse
Some more bouncing
Hay ride time!
Checking out the chicks
We do this every year
For comparison, this was when he was about 23 month old (our first year)
There was a professional phtographer there, and he took some beautiful shots of Anson (we bought a few). Anson played peek-a-boo with him for a while. Unfortunately this is scanned so the quality isn't great.
So that was our morning at the farm. It was sort of fall weather (though it ended up being in the 80's that day) and got us in the mood for a fun fall season!
