Grady and Anson have been staying quite busy this summer! We did up a "bucket list" of fun things we wanted to do this summer and have hung it on the fridge. So far we have done quite a few things on it. We are also doing a "country of the week" with Grady, since he just loves geography. So far we have finished China and India. Now we are on to USA (to prepare for the Fourth of July). We have tried food from the countries (G has been quite adventurous!), listened to traditional music (the kids loved the Chinese meditation music), did paper dolls in traditional dress, read LOTS of books, and watched some videos (DVDs and on the computer). Grady has the cutest little passport that I made for him, and I stamp it each time we finish a country. Grady and Anson are also both signed up for the reading program at the library (Grady is doing his own reading, and I am reading to Ansy). Grady is also doing several camps this summer - VBS (last week), soccer camp (this week), zoo camp, and children's museum camp.
Some pictures of us having fun...
Washing all the ride-ones (Anson's favorite activity)
Slip-n-sliding in shaving cream - Grady loved it!
Filling "Cami's Pool"
"grilling" while Daddy makes dinner on the big grill
Memorial Day pool party
Grady and Mama did some science experiments - we made chalk here
More fun pictures to come!

Happy 1/2 Camille!
Cami is the Big .5 today! 6 months old. She is doing so many new things. She wants to crawl, and she is up on her knees now. She can actually sort of fling herself forward to get to a toy she wants. She loves books, anything that squeaks, and balls of all sorts. She also loves people, especially her brothers. She is super sweet and very smiley - such a little "lady-baby" :)
Here are a few recent pictures...
First day at the big pool! She has liked it pretty well so far (she's been about 5 times)

Anson's Mickey Party
I am so overdue sharing these pictures of Anson's second birthday party. But I certainly don't want to skip them, so here they are!
We had a Mickey Mouse party because Anson has been very excited about Mickey since even before we went to Disney. We had a beautiful afternoon for the party, and the kids all seemed to have a really fun time. Most importantly, Anson seemed to have a fantastic time! We are so very grateful that some family travelled quite a long way to be there to celebrate. Nana and Papa came from Massachusetts and Grandpa Jim came from Florida. We love them and are so thankful they could all make it. Lots of great friends were there too!
