Grady and Anson have been staying quite busy this summer! We did up a "bucket list" of fun things we wanted to do this summer and have hung it on the fridge. So far we have done quite a few things on it. We are also doing a "country of the week" with Grady, since he just loves geography. So far we have finished China and India. Now we are on to USA (to prepare for the Fourth of July). We have tried food from the countries (G has been quite adventurous!), listened to traditional music (the kids loved the Chinese meditation music), did paper dolls in traditional dress, read LOTS of books, and watched some videos (DVDs and on the computer). Grady has the cutest little passport that I made for him, and I stamp it each time we finish a country. Grady and Anson are also both signed up for the reading program at the library (Grady is doing his own reading, and I am reading to Ansy). Grady is also doing several camps this summer - VBS (last week), soccer camp (this week), zoo camp, and children's museum camp.
Some pictures of us having fun...
Washing all the ride-ones (Anson's favorite activity)
Slip-n-sliding in shaving cream - Grady loved it!
Filling "Cami's Pool"
"grilling" while Daddy makes dinner on the big grill
Memorial Day pool party
Grady and Mama did some science experiments - we made chalk here
More fun pictures to come!
