Easter

We celebrated Easter over the course of several days here.  It kicked off with Anson going to a big Easter celebration and egg hunt with his friend Frankie.  He had a blast!

Looking handsome and all ready to go!

Silly boys!

Ready to find some eggs!

Pretty sure they were discussing their strategy

There were also free bounce houses, balloons, the Easter Bunny, and a fire truck!

The next event was the Easter play at church.  It was a bit crazy because 3 of the actors came down with a terrible stomach virus in the day or two prior, including the lady who was running the show and playing the only adult part.  Grady learned a whole different part the night before (probably about 10 lines) to help save the day!  He also accompanied the group on guitar, and he did great with that!

Here is a link to the video of G playing!

We also did an egg hunt, had lunch, and played a few games.  Lots of fun!

Later that week we decorated eggs.  We tried quite a few methods, but the Sharpie tie-dye ones worked really well!

Finally, Easter morning came!  First, everyone enjoyed checking out their baskets.  They all loved their personalized toiletry bags!

Then we got dressed up and headed outside for the Bunny's egg hunt.  Camille did not want to cooperate for a picture!

Then the egg hunt began

Enjoying a treat

Then we headed to church, had a nap, and played outside while Mama got dinner finished.  We had ham, deviled eggs, green beans, strawberries, hash brown "nests", and bunny bread (which Camille helped make)

"Bunny bread" - see the shapes?

And here are our gorgeous eggs!

It was a fun-filled Easter!
