Last weekend I took Grady to Columbia, SC for a last-minute overnight trip. He was so very excited and was not ready to come home after only one night. We stayed in a nice one-bedroom suite, Grady slept on the pull-out couch with no issues, and we enjoyed a fun day at the children's museum the next day. It was really nice to get some special one-on-one time with my little G-Man!
Here he is watching a show on the big hotel bed while I got ready in the morning
Outside the museum, hugging a palm tree
Being a fireman
Filling the gas tank
He loved the farm - here he is gathering eggs
Gathering peaches - what a good little SC boy!
Driving a tractor
Posing with the "World's Largest Boy", which I thought was a little strange...
until I realized you could go inside him and learn all about the body - it was really cool!
Peeking out from behind his spine
Playing dentist - too bad Grandpa Carl wasn't there to answer all of his questions
Surgeon Grady - taking out all of this poor man's parts
This shows him pretending to be a newsman, but really he was mostly pretending to be the weather guy - a man after my own heart. I am endlessly fascinated with weather for some reason.
They had a very cool music room
This exhibit was about blood sucking insects. He looks happy to be sitting next to a giant tick!
BACK to the fire station - it was awesome. He even slid down a fire pole several times!
One cute video of the giant piano...
