Massachusetts - the last few days

We had a busy few days, so on Thursday and Friday we decided to take it easy. On Thursday we did go to Friendly's for lunch, along with Grammy Nancy and Nana.

On Friday we celebrated Grammy Nancy's birthday with a little party at Nana's house. Uncle Mark's granddaughters also came, and Grady got to play with them.



They all wanted to help Grammy Nancy open gifts!





Later that day, since it was rainy, Nana and Papa took the boys to the bookstore while Mama and Dada relaxed.

On their way. Rules are already being broken, I'm sure. I'm surprised Anson doesn't have a chocolate bar - haha!

By this time some bad teething had set in, so Anson was "binkie boy"



On Saturday the weather was very nice again, and we headed over to Grampy Bruce and Yummy Pat's house for a little party!

But first, the kids needed to try out the teeny tiny chair













Lynn and her kids came, and they played with Grady a bunch.

We had lots of fun swimming, and Grady loved looking at cars with Grampy Bruce. Gaga and Grandpa Schmidt even made the drive from NY to be there. It was a great way to end our trip! We miss everyone already! Come and visit (or move here) anytime!

Massachusetts - Day on the Farm

On Wednesday of our Massachusetts trip we took the boys to Davis Farmland, a super fun hands-on farm with tons to do. It was a hot day, so in addition to doing the regular farm stuff, we also enjoyed their water area.

Back to the farm...

This farmer made Grady an "Official Junior Farmer" (he was the only kid I saw with that special sticker). Grady took his title quite seriously.









After a hayride, Grady finished a great day by milking a goat!





After a great day at the farm, that evening Anson took a tub in the sink!
