Visiting with Grandparents

The day after Anson's party we all went to church.  It was Anson's first time going to "Children's Church" instead of the nursery, and he was so proud and excited!  He even told Pastor Rusty a story about his birthday during the Children's Time in church.

Grady and Papa before church

While the little guys napped, Grady went out for ice cream and a little adventure with all the grandparents who were in town.  They headed downtown...

The next morning Gaga and Grandpa headed home.  After dropping Grady at school, Nana, Papa, Anson, Camille, and I headed downtown.

That afternoon Nana had lunch with Grady at school and visited for a while.

The next day Nana and Papa watched the littles while Mama took Grady to a doctor's appointment.  This is what went on...

They had to fly out that evening, and we were sad to see them go.  It was so nice to celebrate Anson's birthday with so many grandparents around!

Anson Is Three!

This past weekend my baby boy turned three!  We celebrated with a big "Dada's Work" themed party in our backyard.  About 45 friends and family members joined us.  Though it rained heavily that morning, it cleared for the party, and everything was perfect!

Anson helped make dirt cups for the party

Daddy and Anson checked out the Gator before the party

Anson was so excited for the party to begin!

And the playhouse saw plenty of action too

Hay rides were a hit!

Everyone sang to Anson, which he seemed to enjoy

Camille enjoyed too!

He opened one gift at the end of the party - a monster truck from Mr Jeff!

He opened some more gifts the next day...

A workbench from Miss Alpa!

A crane from Mama and Dada!

It was a fantastic party to celebrate a fantastic boy!  Happy birthday, Ansy Boo!
