A Visit from Nana!

Soon after Gaga and Grandpa left, we were lucky enough to have another visitor - Nana came to see us!

It was nice when she arrived, so we headed downtown...

We tried a fun new restaurant (it's a "gastropub") called Nosedive.  It was yummy and fun.  The kids ate well too!

The next morning we headed to Cedar Falls Park

Mama and Grady at the falls

That afternoon Nana took Grady to see the Lego movie while we just enjoyed the nice weather with the little guys.

The next day was a school holiday, so we headed to the children's museum

In the wind tunnel - so cute!

That evening Nana got to see Grady's basketball practice, and the following day she came to Camille's baby gym class with us, before she had to fly home.  It was a short visit, but we were so happy she could come.

Snow - part 2

A few weeks back we got the most snow, by far, that we have ever seen in South Carolina.  Apparently it was the most in about 30 years.  There was talk we might get 7 inches or something, but I think we got about 4-5.  Of course school was cancelled for several days, and we did not go out.  Grady did really enjoy it, but it's a good thing he can be out in the backyard on his own now, because the littler kids had very little patience for it.

It was very wet, and therefore quite sticky - perfect for a snowman!

At the height of the storm - it started melting soon after

Grady did enjoy sledding down the big hill (on the road) - here he is with Drew and Ashley

It was quite an event, and I am glad to say the weather warmed up a couple days later and has been quite warm and sunny, for the most part!
