Random Camille

Since I spend so much one on one time with Camille now, while her big brothers are in school, I often snap random pictures of her playing or just being cute.  Here are a few...

She loves apples!

It hasn't really been chilly much yet this year, but she did really want to try on her new winter jacket from Nana

Having fun scooping rice

She loves to try on any type of shoes!  Here she is in Grady's boots

Enjoying a little playground time

She loves her new stroller and asks to go on walks all the time

She also really enjoys riding on the rocking horse that was originally Grady's.  she actually rides it a lot more than he ever did!

She is just such a happy, easygoing girl!

Grady's Trip to Cross-Fit Swamp Rabbit

Grady's class recently took a field trip to a cross-fit gym on the Swamp Rabbit trail in Downtown Greenville.  They also ate at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe downtown, which uses lots of local and organic foods.  I am so grateful that his teacher takes so many pictures during these sorts of events.  Look for the red shorts!

Wahoowa!

The best thing to happen to UVA Football this season is this girl...  The cutest little cheerleader ever!

Keep on cheering, Camille!

Last blast of summery fun

Summer weather sticks around for a while here in SC.  That being said, these pictures are a little old.  But I wanted to share because it was SUCH a fun day!  We went to one of the three water parks we have here in Greenville, and it was one we had never been to.  The crowds were not bad, and we got to have lots of splashy fun before heading home for naps.

He swims pretty well now, but he was required to wear a life vest because of his age

Good times!  And it was a bonus that Anson won the tickets in a drawing for kids who participated in the summer reading program!

Airport Fun

Normally I don't find the airport to be particularly fun, but recently I heard about a new playground that was located right at the small municipal airport in town (not the main airport).  There is also a little cafe there, and you can watch small planes take off and land as you eat or play!  It is so cool, and the kids love it!

Grady kept "chasing" the planes as they came in

Camille and Dada on the runway

Anson watching the planes from our lunch spot

We have since been back a couple times and cannot wait to see What they add with phase 2 of the playground!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

This summer all three kids participated in the Greenville Library Reading program, and all three earned the highest prize level for their reading.  Each age division gets different prizes, but for both Grady and Anson one of the prizes was tickets to a Greenville Drive baseballs game at the end of the summer.  They got "Reading All Star" t-shirts and got to parade on the field at the beginning too!  Grady really enjoyed the game and watched attentively the whole time.  Anson also enjoyed the game and the atmosphere of the stadium.

So proud of my little readers!

Anson Bruce

Mr. Anson can be quite a handful, but he IS three, so I guess he is just doing his job, right?  He can also be so sweet and charming.  At times he is very lovey to Camille, he absolutely adores his big brother, and he can be so darn funny.  We love his little lisp, his chubby cheeks, his ability to make friends everywhere, and his special snuggles at bedtime.  Here are a few recent pictures of the little man.

Singing "Wheels on the Bus" at the Children's Museum

Painting outside

Enjoying a treat!

Enjoying dinner at Chuy's (a new Mexican restaurant in town) with Dada

Enjoying the water park on Labor Day

"Big men do this, right?"

He has his papers

This is so very Anson

We love our little Ansy Boo!
