Memorial Day Weekend

So I am a bit behind here, but there are too many fun and cute pictures for me not to share.  The big event of our Memorial Day weekend was the Aloft Festival in Simpsonville.  It is a hot air balloon festival, and we have been before, but we have never actually gotten to see the hot air balloons since they only launch early in the morning and later in the evening (the weather needs to be cooler).

Then the boys got to try stand-up paddle boarding!  It was great!

After that we went on some rides - Grady actually enjoyed this!

Then it was time for pizza and ice cream!

On the way out we saw the SC National Guard.  Anson was thrilled!

It was a fun weekend - nice weather, cookouts, swimming, and plenty of ice cream.  The perfect kick-off to summer!
