Easter Weekend

We had a very nice Easter weekend - lots going on!

On Thursday I brought the boys to meet the bunny - no screaming baby here!

Then Grady and I colored some eggs together - he had so much fun - I have never seen him enjoy it so much!

On Saturday morning Grady had a birthday party. It was for one of his best girlfriends. Anson and Eric came separately so that we could all be there but A could leave early for his second nap.
Grady loved the pony rides - he rode again and again!

I am a huge dork, but look how cute - A sat on one!

Anson loved the Minnie balloon

Easter morning was fun. It was Anson's first Easter, so that was special. Anson was obviously completely clueless, but Grady was wildly excited!

Grady was SO excited about that butterfly/fishing net!

I love that little face so much

One gift was from me and Eric - it was Pinocchio, since it is the 70th anniversary this year

A loves the net too

He did like his bunny quite a bit, as well as his Laugh and Learn phone

Then it was time for the bunny's egg hunt - it ended up being 90, so thank goodness we were out there at like 8:30AM!

Before church - I am totally squinting, but the boys look cute. Grady has flowers because they were supposed to bring flowers from their own gardens to put on the special cross at church. He LOVED that and picked about 5 flowers for it. It was cute because the cross was up at the entrance to the school today too.

This time I did sort of plan to coordinate with them :)

Since it was so hot we played in the water after naps

We had our special meal for dinner, just because it was too busy early in the day. I just did a ham, potato salad, vegetable, biscuits, and Easter Rice Krispie Treats for dessert (I was supposed to make whoopie pies but ran out of energy). It was a great day!
